Hello South House! Hope you all had a wonderful day today, only 3 more days to go before our 4 day weekend! Anyways, it's my turn to scribe this week and I hope I can be of help especially to those of you who weren't here today. So here is what went on today in class.
The Game Plan:

• SSR
• Mini Lesson: Close Reading
• We did this mini lesson under assignment 70 under our LC Disc Prep 8. We had to choose a passage from our reading that caught our attention and that was 5-7 sentences long. After writing the passage down we had to write why you think the author included that passage, what specific techniques were used, and how effective were they.
• For our future homework assignments we are expected to do this under our LC Disc Prep notes.

New Notebook Assignments:

• A# 71 LC Disc Prep 9

Homework:

• LC Disc Prep 9 along with 5-7 sentence passage under same assignment (check Mini lesson for what to do for the passage)
